New Year, New Hopes, New Dreams

Well, the transition from 05-06 was spent in some MacDonalds outlet on our quaint little island... Met up with a couple of my friends as we talked about the year that passed and new hopes for the coming year. The new year brings new stress of course (like how to maintain my grades...) but at the same time I'm expecting new experiences and I guess the new year will be fun. Like my good friend Fariz, my hopes is simple and that is to be happy in the coming new year. In addition, I guess I need a life, all work and no play (no, MSN and Falcon 4 AF don't count...)makes me a very dull guy, and dull means unattractive! Go figure...

That few hours spent in Mac was full of really deep discussions on life and solving one of the great mysteries of life, the laws of attraction. Khai my Sista actually taught the guys there the Art of Flirting....problem is that we have a real big problem with that. We cannot reconcile the attractive bad-boy and cocky image that attracts women with the person that we are, which is to say the opposite. I wish there's a pill that says 'confidence' which I can just swallow and instantly acquire, but I guess until that day happens its gonna be kinda hard isn't it?

Just watched Narnia with a couple of people that just got to know through a friend. Nice show, and the company wasn't bad at all...Seems like I'm getting that confidence thingy, now I just have to keep my momentum going and make the coming year a memorable one...As much as I love my bunch of friends, spending New Year with someone else next year might prove to be refreshing...

Anyway, all I can say is that I came into the new year with new hopes and also new knowledge. So armed, I can face the challenges of 2006 with more confidence than the preceding years. Here's to a fabulous 2006, Cheers!
